Learn to speak Russian language with Offline English-Russian Audio Phrasebook! Now the online Phrasebook materials are available for download and can be used offline.

The downloadable product was created at numerous requests of the LearningRussian.com customers as an alternative to the online English-Russian Phrasebook. The Phrasebook for download has the same basic features as the online product does:

  • more than 2000 Russian words and phrases with English translation;
  • pronunciation guide to every phrase;
  • audio support: male and female voice recordings*;
  • PDF version of every thematic section.

* We use .mp3 sound format in the offline version.

All of the materials are archived and compressed using WinZip. The WinZip file of the whole Phrasebook is about 29950 KB. The download service is premium. You must pay online US $49 in order to get a 30-day access to the download page.

Requirements:

The offline Phrasebook works best with Windows-1251 encoding, Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, Windows Media(tm) Player.

For listening .mp3 sound samples you need to install the Windows Media(tm) Player on your computer. It's FREE and easy to install. If you do not have the Windows Media Player, you may get the Player from Microsoft Download Center. You might also choose a non-Microsoft program, like the popular and excellent Winamp, which you may get here.

Note: for better sound, please set your player's equalizer like it is shown below:

To playback the audio files, use special buttons near the phrase you are interested in: click for male voice, for female voice.
